History of Astronomy in India

India had learned astronomy since 3000 years ago. As in some other parts of the world are very slow growing astronomy because he got the tools to conduct better investigations. Nevertheless astronomers in India have held observation since 1200 years BC. They have measured the diameter or the diameter of the earth and found the figure 12,600 kilometers. We know that the system of the other numbers are very difficult to use if the numbers are big. Particularly if used to subtract, add, divide, multiply, and others. The figures chinese, japanese, roman, not suitable, not practically used in arithmetic. Roman numbers I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XI, XII, and so on.
