10 step energy saving fridge

Refrigerator are electronic devices that play a major role in our electricity bill. Wise use of electronic equipment to be key austerity. Well, the following steps can help reduce the energy consumption of the refrigerator.

  • Make sure the size of your refrigerator as needed. If it is too small, your refrigerator will be too full and does not leave room for air circulation, if it is too large, you will be a waste of energy and space in your home.
  • Leave a space between the refrigerator and the wall around it. Distance to the wall with a minimum of 10-15 cm and 30 cm ceiling. If placed in a narrow space, the machine will be hot and fast so the workload is heavier.
  • Place the refrigerator in a cool place. Do not place in a place exposed to direct sunlight or other heat sources because it is not good for the engine.
  • Try not too frequent opening and closing the refrigerator. Lights that turn on when the door is opened will spend energy. Do not open the door of the fridge for too long because of a third cold air will come out when the fridge is opened.
  • Adjust the temperature as needed. The lower the temperature, the more energy is needed for cooling refrigerator. We recommend that you set the temperature at a level just above the center line.
  • Non-activate additional functions refrigerator when not needed. More and more functions are activated, the greater the energy consumption and costs. You also do not need to buy a refrigerator that is too sophisticated not sure if it will make use of these functions.
  • Avoid storing hot or warm food in the refrigerator. Wait until the food cold. Food or hot drinks also affect the temperature in the refrigerator and make the engine work to gain weight.
  • Check the rubber seal attached to the door. Usually this bulkhead would loosen over time. Outside air can easily get in and mess up the temperature inside. Machine fridge will work harder to cool the contents of the refrigerator according to the specified temperature. Do repairs if there are other holes that allow outside air to enter.
  • Turn off the refrigerator if you and your family plan to travel outside the city for some time. Open the little door of the refrigerator so that the inside is not humid and cause odor.
  • Clean the refrigerator parts on a regular basis in order to work the machine so lightweight. Dust can clog drains and air so it's major engines have to work harder. Costs out any more.
