Methodes of Social Research

In the framework of research activities to obtain data for the preparation of a scientific method we know of qualitative and quantitative methods.

  1. Qualitative methods, is a method of prioritizing research materials that are difficult to measure with the numbers but the facts contained in the community. Included in this method is a comparative historical and Case Study
  2. Quantitative method, a method which prioritizes information materials with the figures so that the symptoms observed can be measured using scales, indexes and so with a little more use science.
Included in this quantitative method is the statistical and experimental. Both methods of qualitative and quantitative methods, widely used in studies of the symptoms of society. In sociological research both qualitative and quantitative methods are the techniques or certain ways, among others, which is often used in social research are:

  1. Interview
  2. Questionnaire
  3. Methods of participation
